A lifetime of movement, shared with her students.
Sophia is a former Pre-Teen USA Ballroom Dance National Champion and a trained Bolshoi Ballet and Houston Ballet Academy ballerina. From the age of six, she found her lifelong passion for the art of dance and self-expression, and she holds great passion in sharing this love with her students.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Sophia has traveled to Houston (TX), Moscow (RU), and Caorle (IT) for continuing education that she now shares with everyone who joins L'DC, while pursuing her dreams as an artist.
Now based in San Diego, CA, Sophia has shared her love for ballroom and social dance throughout the region, including Temecula. She is also part of Rx Ballroom Dance, a non-profit organization for students with neurological conditions such as Parkinson's, instructing classes in San Diego and weekly over Zoom.
Currently competing in Latin and Ballroom under the NDCA (National Dance Council of America), Sophia travels around the United States. Her mission at Leva' Dance Club is to provide an enjoyable and learning experience for students of all ages and levels.
